Halfway There Scrappin'

Ok, i'ts been awhile, but finally got some 6x12s done, and I remembered how much I just LOVE that size, sooo fun and fast too, gotta love that... Got a few done from the crop this weekend and here's what I did:

Workin It... (YUMMY Scenic Route goodies, and also used my exacto knife to cut out the flower and then slide the photo in behind it, for a fun overlapping effect):

The Smile That Melts My Heart: This 3 Bugs Island line is soo me, only cuz I take a million beach pics in Cali, when we go out there and still wish we were there.

2 Friends (with some fun Scenic Route goodies- I can NOT get enough of that company)

Halfway There Scrappin' is BACK!!

It's been FOREVER since I updated this blog, so I decided to just do it!!

We all know this size of layout is too dang cool... have you tried one that is vertical yet?? You should!!

I thought I would post some of my "vertical" 6 x 12 pages for you all, just to look at and possibly be inspired!! Maybe the colors will catch your eye, or the design... maybe you want to use multiple pics on your page and don't know how to lay them out.

Ok, a few people have showed interest in some challenges here!!

Why don't we get started then...

Use the below sketch (one of May's HalfMaps from PageMaps) to make a 6 x 12 layout. You can use any supplies you want!! Have fun, mix it up, rotate the sketch, add embellishments, whatever makes you happy!!! The finished product must resemble the sketch!!

You will have 2 weeks to create your Masterpiece!!

Deadline for entry is Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 @ 6:00pm CST!!

All names of those who participate will go into a hat and a drawing for a winner of a cool, little prize package from me will be done!!

I just LOVE the 6 x 12 pages!!! Especially in landscape format!!!

You can do so much with this size. Here are a couple that I've made in this format.

"Having Fun" made using the Scrappy Girl Designs May '07 Kit

Have you seen the 6 x 12 scrapbook pages yet?? They are just too dang cool!!!

I've created this blog specifially to showcase this size page. I will post layouts, a possible sketch or challenge from time to time... who knows!!
